Brother Swenson is from Boise, Idaho, and has 6 children with his wife Dyanna. Following his service in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission (where he met Dyanna), Brother and Sister Swenson were married in the Las Vegas temple in December of 1999. Brother Swenson then attended Boise State University where he received his Bachelors in Music Education. He taught Choir, Music Theory courses and Student Leadership classes at Boise High School for the next 10 years. He began teaching seminary in 2013 at Mountain View High School. He has taught at the Boise institute since 2016 and enjoys working with the Young Adults there. He completed his master’s degree in “Educational Technologies” in the summer of 2021. He currently teaches seminary at Eagle High School in addition to his institute assignments with the choirs. He is excited about this opportunity to engage in music and other courses that help draw us all closer to the Savior. He looks forward to getting to know you!
