Jim Edwards

Brother Edwards was born in Salt Lake City but grew up in Boise. In high school he played the string bass in the orchestra and also participated in football, wrestling, and track. He graduated from Centennial High School in 1989, and went on to BYU to earn a degree in Wildlife Biology. He also played on the offensive line on BYU’s football team and was a hammer-thrower on the track team. In the middle of his college career he served a mission to the Philippines-Baguio mission from 1990-1992. He married Rebekah Higginson in the Manti temple on June 11th, 1993. They have 4 children and enjoy fishing, birdwatching, and gardening together. Brother Edwards also earned a masters degree in education from Boise State University in 2003.
